Dear You,
The Heartworm holiday sale is here with almost everything at 25-50% off this week only! We’ll be updating the site all week with rare and archival items so check back frequently. Particularly excited to have copies in the Distro section of the Liquid Sky soundtrack and signed copies of Edley O’Dowd’s Psychic TV art book.
What else is news? This is news:
– Spin magazine talked to me about Nine Inch Nails‘ debut album Pretty Hate Machine – you can read it Here. They then quoted me in the follow-up article where they spoke with Trent about it. You can read that Here.
– Thanks to all who attended my talks with Genesis Breyer P-Orridge for he/r shows at the Tom Of Finalnd and Lethal Amounts galleries. It’s safe to say we all left those two nights with more hope and love for ourselves and/in the future.
– I sang a song on the forthcoming Mark Lanegan album which was a huge honor as he’s surely one of the realest and greatest singers of our time. If you are unfamiliar I urge you to listen to his album’s Bubblegum, Gargoyle and really, everything.. I also met Simon Bonney from Crime and the City Solution at Mark’s studio, another singer inspiring to me. You can read about Mark’s forthcoming record Here.
– Kerrang mag did an introductory story on Goth and Cold Cave is included. Are these the best? You can read that Here.
– The American Nightmare tour is approaching. If you don’t have tickets yet for Feb/March you can purchase them Here. We will be announcing support shortly.
– It was a nice surprise to be mentioned in the promo for another favorite, Underworld‘s new song STAR.
– By the way, my two favorite shows I saw this year may have been Bauhaus and Youth Of Today, both within the last month. I am still a child of the 80’s. Atiba took the above photo.
– Lastly, Love Comes Close is live. Thank you all for the support in this reissue. Here are some digital links to stream.
Thank you for supporting independence.
